Where does ScreenTale store recordings?
By default, each recording is a .screentale bundle inside Movies/ScreenTale on your Mac.
Which permissions do I need?
Screen Recording is required. Camera, microphone, Accessibility, and Input Monitoring are needed only for the corresponding features.
What happens if the app stops unexpectedly?
ScreenTale records short media segments and offers to recover an unfinished project the next time it launches.
How does the trial work?
Claim the free trial inside the app, activate one Mac, and connect at least once every 24 hours during the 14-day trial.
Does a paid license need to stay online?
No. Initial activation needs a connection; valid lifetime evidence then works offline indefinitely.
How many Macs can I use?
One paid license supports up to three active Macs at a time.
